WCC is pleased to announce the appointment of Lionel Smith as Club Coach for the 2008/09 season. Lionel has previous coaching experience in the ATCA and has also filled the role of Bowling Coach at Walkerville in recent seasons. We are confidant that Lionel's extensive experience and cricket knowledge, combined with the leadership of Club Captain Ben Duncan will provide the club with a solid foundation on which to build a very successful season. |

Pre-season training kicks off on Sunday 3rd August with the first of three weekly sessions at Stepney ICA. From Sunday 24th August training moves to Blackfriars School ( click here for map ) for 4 weeks before moving home to Walkerville oval for Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday sessions from Tuesday 16th September.
